Am I a Modern Girl from a Farm World or am I a Farmer in a Modern World?

I am many things now but for those who have been in my presence know that I was once a farmer. While I am a painter, photographer and good friend, once upon a time I was a farmer. I have dreamed of writing but I am not a writer. The purpose of this blog is to meld the beliefs I formed while I was a child farmer and blend them into who I have become as an adult. I have attempted blogging before for business gain but didn't feel comfortable or committed to writing about stuff that didn't express who I am and how I became that person.

As I began, people who have conversed with me know that I have valued and trusted in many of the concepts I was exposed to growing up. The ideal of hope and faith are to me the basics of farm life. I often wonder am I a Modern Girl from a Farm World or am I a Farmer in a Modern World? Over the next few weeks I am going to put into writing for the world to see many of the secret conversations and beliefs of mine that I have shared with friends over the years. Often when asked what religion I am, I reply, I am a Farmer.

I hope you will follow me and help me to bridge and fulfill a space in my life that needs to be shared and explored. Thanks for reading to this point as I am sure I will need encouragement to write more.
